What initially began as a lighthearted exchange of roasts between YouTube and TikTok creators during the pandemic eventually escalated into a contentious online feud involving both content creators and their respective fan bases. Elvish and Lakshay Chaudhary took a jibe at certain female influencers, including Kusha Kapila. In response, Kusha offered a considerate reply, addressing the misogynistic undertones of their comments. She also took a reflective approach, acknowledging her own previous mistake of making generalized statements about all men in a non-roast video.
